The DOLRE Low Stress Parapet System is available in a choice of design classifications to suit a wide variety of applications – from small rural bridges and culverts, through to major motorway installations.
DOLRE N232 – LOW
DOLRE N232 is the AS 5100 Low Performance classification configuration of DOLRE. With a post at every 6 metres, it is a great alternative to conventional guardrail/w-beam installation on rural bridges. Designed to contain a 2270 kg car traveling at a speed of 70 km/h (MASH TL2), DOLRE N232 is an ideal system for bridges in many rural and urban locations.
DOLRE H241 – REGULAR
DOLRE H241 is the AS 5100 Regular Performance classification configuration of DOLRE. With a post at every 2 metres, it is designed to contain a 10,000 kg bus impacting at 90 km/h (MASH TL4). DOLRE H241 is ideal for use on structures on the secondary road network, as well as short span bridges on motorways.
DOLRE H233 LNA – NON-ANCHORED
DOLRE H233 LNA is a variant of H241 DOLRE system, which allows for installation of the TL4-rated DOLRE parapet on a non-anchored kerb. This revolutionary design feature further reduces the transferred load to the bridge deck during an impact. DOLRE H233 LNA is also ideal for use on bridges where drilling into the deck is not disirabble (e.g. to avoid damage to waterproofing membranes/reinforcement etc.).
DOLRE H464 – MEDIUM
DOLRE H464 is the AS 5100 Medium Performance classification of DOLRE. With a post at every 1.5 metres, the DOLRE H464 Low Stress Bridge Parapet System is designed to contain a 36,000 kg truck traveling at 80 km/h, making it ideally suited for locations with heavy vehicle traffic.
